A little about Asha

Asha is second-generation American; her family is Malayali, and her parents' story ran through Delhi, where her father built a small internal-medicine practice before the move. His credentials didn't survive immigration — twenty-five years now as a pharmacy tech. Her mother turned a sewing machine into an alterations shop that quietly paid for everything. Asha's scores could have bought dermatology money. She chose family medicine at County on purpose.
